The Friends of the Library provide entertaining and educational performers in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232 during summer months.

Tickets are available in advance at the Library or at the door on performance day.

Canadian Raptors

The Canadian Raptor Conservancy's educational demonstration includes 5 different raptors, including at least 3 free-flying birds. Birds may include a Turkey Vulture, Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Eagle Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Lanner Falcon, Ferruginous Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Harris Hawk, American Kestrel or a host of other birds! Meet birds of prey from around the world!

Find out all about birds in the Huntsville area! Mark Peck is an ornithology technician at the Royal Ontario Museum who focuses on breeding and nesting birds. The program is of interest to ages 5 up to adults. Following the presentation, there will be owl pellets for participants to dig through!
