Public Access Computers

Throughout the Library there are many computers that allow users to connect with information, learn new skills, and have a great time.

Online Catalogue | OPAC

Used for checking to see if titles are in the Library's collection.   There are five (5) OPACs, one of which is fully accessible.

AWE Workstations | Early Literacy

Found in the Children's Library and used to build literacy and technology skills. There are four (4).

Creativity & Exploration Hub

Two (2) workstations that include an iMac 27 and a  PC with a 27 inch monitor.  Both workstations have Internet access and the Adobe iCloud Create. 

Public Access Computers

Sixteen (16) workstations that require users to login using their Library card & PIN number or guest login.

  • Click the login message or the icon in the bottom right to login.
  • Help (?) icon provides basic login information.  Staff are always available to help.l

Google Chrome Browser Opens to Quicklinks

The Google Chrome Browser opens to the Quicklinks page on the Huntsville Public Library website with links to the pages searched the most:

  • Email:   Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, Vianet, Yahoo, Bell, Rogers, and Cogeco
  • Social Media:  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest
  • Library Resources:  Online Catalogue, Local History & Genealogy, and the Virtual Library landing page.
  • Government Resources:  Town of Huntsville, District of Muskoka, Province of Ontario, and Government of Canada
  • Other Popular pages:  Service Ontario, Service Canada, the CBC, Wikipedia, and the Weather Network.
