The Huntsville Public Library has a number of programs for adults including: craft and exercise programs, movie showings, workshops, author events and more.

Book Clubs

The Wednesday Afternoon Book club meets monthly on Wednesday's from 2-3pm. Please register in advance for our book club by calling or dropping by.

Crafternoon

Looking to express your creativity? Join us for an afternoon of crafts, a chat and coffee. Each month we will give you the instructions and materials needed for some DIY fun.

Friday's 1:00-3:00pm

Advanced registration is required and closes 1 week prior to each program date. Cost $5.

Escape Room

Have you always wanted to be locked up in the Library? Well now is your chance! Part of the Library After Hours series, we will be hosting an escape room for you and your friends. Register today for this fun night out of finding clues, solving puzzles and ultimately unlocking your team from our escape room. Advanced registration is required.

Films That Make You Think!

VON SMART Exercise
The Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) offer the SMART exercise program at the library. The SMART program is a gentle fitness program designed for adults ages 55 and up.

These classes do not include any floor or mat work. Some exercises may use a chair for balance.
