Friends of the Library Performances


The Friends of the Library provide entertaining and educational performers in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232 during summer months.  Tickets are available in advance at the Library or at the door (cash only) on performance day.  Cost: $3 per person.  Performances held at the Huntsville Legion 21 Veterans Way.

TEAM T&J are a fresh dose of active and uplifting family entertainment.  They play original music that has everyone up and moving with them right from the start!  They engage and interact in a positive, active and uplifting manner.  TEAM T&J sets an environment where kids can explore and express their creativity and imaginations through the excitement and freedom of live music interaction!

Canadian Raptor Conservancy

Great Horned Owl

The Canadian Raptor Conservancy’s educational demonstration includes 5 different raptors, including at least 3 free-flying birds.  Birds may include a Turkey Vulture, Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Eagle Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Lanner Falcon, Ferruginous Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Harris Hawk, American Kestrel or a host of other birds!  Meet birds of prey from around the world!

Have the opportunity to encounter some of Ontario's magnificent wild creatures and gain a better appreciation for the wildlife around us.  Meet 5 different individual animals, such as a porcupine, hawk, bobcat, turtle, skunk, goose, owl, snake etc. and learn about their species, adaptations and habitat.
