The Huntsville Public Library offers programs for kids of all ages, with a focus on reading, technology and fun.

Some programs require registration. See program details for more information.

Baby/Toddler Storytime

Baby/toddler storytime includes 30 minutes of stories, songs, rhymes, bounces, finger plays, and sensory activities.

Ages 0 to 24 month. Please register.

LEGO Builders Club

Minecraft Mondays

Do you love Minecraft? Design and build in creative mode. Work on build challenges with Teen Tech Jacob!

Tech Gadgets for Kids

Try out introductory coding with Cubetto and Ozobots, learn about circuits using Snap Circuits Junior, and try out a 3Doodler Start. Teen Tech Keira will demonstrate and teach you all about these gadgets.

 STEAM Club

Our STEAM Club is a monthly club that offers activities on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). There will be building, experiments, art, tech gadgets and more.

CodeCombat

Celebrate Canada Learning Code Week! Try out CodeCombat and learn about coding in a fun environment.

Carboard Car Drive-In

Kids are invited to make their own car out of cardboard boxes, then settle in behind the wheel for a couple of short films based on popular children’s books. Registration opens Friday, September 6.

 3D Printing for Tweens

Join us for an introduction to 3D printing and 3D object design. Design your own 3D model using TinkerCAD and have it printed using our 3D printer.

Holiday VR

Immerse yourself in extraordinary new worlds! Climb Mount Everest, work in a cafe, solve puzzles, and reach out and touch a rhino, all in pure 360° virtual reality!
