Access G1 Practice Tests

G1.ca provides free G1 Practice Tests, based on the official Ontario Driver's Handbook. No registration required. The M1 Motorcycle Test is also available.

Access Lynda.com

Lynda.com offers over 3,500 video tutorial courses led by experts on web design, software development, business skills, home and small office, project management, graphic design and much more. You will need to create an account with Lynda.com using an email address to keep track of your progress through the courses.

Instructions for Logging in with the Lynda App

There are a few extra steps to log in to your Lynda.com account using the mobile app. Follow these steps to log in to the app:

  1. From the login screen, tap on the Organization tab on the top.
  2. On the Organization screen, you will need to use the Web Portal option.
  3. Type in huntsvillelibrary.ca into the box under Web Portal and tap log in.
  4. You will be taken out of the app to a screen where you will enter your 14-digit library card number (no spaces) and your Library Card PIN (last 4 digits of your telephone number).
  5. You can allow the app to remember your library login for ease of access.
  6. There will be another prompt to "Open in Lynda.com". Tap Open to open the app.
  7. Accept the terms of service.
  8. You will be taken to the main page of the app. Enjoy Lynda.com!

Mango Languages is an online language learning service that offers lessons over 70 languages. You will need your library card and an email address to create an account with Mango Languages.

STEM Village

Access STEM Village

STEM Village is an educational tool for students and their families to improve their science, technology, engineering and math skills. You will need to create two accounts – a parent and a student account, to access STEM Village.

Getting started

A parent needs to create a STEM Village parent profile, then create an account for their child. Children log with a separate account to access the lessons. Parents monitor their child's progress and can give rewards.

Sign up for the accounts

  1. Go to the STEM Village sign up page.
  2. Create a STEM Village parent profile.
  3. An email will be sent for you to activate your account.
  4. Add a STEM Village child profile.
