Interlibrary Loans

NOTICE: Please be advised that while the library is closed the Interlibrary Loan Service is suspended.

Use the Interlibrary Loan (ILLO) service to request books, DVDs, CDs, and other material that Huntsville Public Library doesn't have in its collections. This service allows you to borrow library materials from other Ontario public library systems.

Ask staff at the Central Service desk if you need help; however, you can get your own account to find and request materials from other libaries.  All you need is an Internet connection and computer.

Get an ILLO account

  • Sign up for an ILLO account online. It takes about 2 minutes to create an account.
  • If you have difficulty, come to the Central Service desk in the Library to ask for help.
  • In 3-5 days you will recieved an email confirming your new ILLO account username and password.
  • If you have previously signed up for an ILLO account, your username and password still applies.
