Friends of the Library Kids' Events

Friends of the Library LogoThe Friends of the Library provide entertaining and educational events in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232 during the summer (21 Veterans Way | See Map).

Tickets for each event are $3. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Library. On event day, tickets are available CASH ONLY at the door. Thank you very much to the Friends of the Library and the Huntsville Legion for sponsoring these events.

Scales Nature Park

Learn about amazing animals then get to meet them! First, Scales Nature Park staff will deliver a talk on amphibians and/or reptiles. Next, several animals from the presentation will be available for hands-on interactions.

Speaking of Wildlife

Meet 5 native Ontario wildlife ambassadors and gain a better appreciation for the wildlife around us. This presentation may feature animals such as porcupine, hawk, bobcat, turtle, skunk, goose, owl, snake, etc. and includes information about each individual animal, their species, adaptations and habitat.
