Canadian Raptor Conservancy at Legion Event

The Canadian Raptor Conservancy focuses on conservation and education the public about the important role birds of prey play in the world. Meet 5 different live birds and see some of them fly across the room! Sponsored by the Friends of the Library in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232.

Tickets $3 per person. Tickets will be available in advance at the library starting February 5. Tickets are available, CASH ONLY, at the door on March 12.

March Break Green Screen & Button Making

Drop by your library to have a photo taken with the green screen and select backgrounds. Design and colour a button or choose a button to be made for you!

Let’s get crafty! Use colourful tissue paper shapes and mod podge to decorate a paper lantern.

March Break Minecraft

Love Minecraft? Come to your library to design and build in creative mode with other participants. Work on build challenges and block coding with Teen Tech Sophia in Minecraft: Education Edition.

Registration required. Ages 7-12. Please register for only 1 March Break Minecraft activity.

Lego Builders Club

Join other Lego fans at your library to be creative and build with Lego! There will be a build challenge, and creations will be put on display in the Children’s Library afterward.

Visit your library to create a colourful shape or character using Perler Beads! Carefully place Perler Beads on a pegboard following a design, and we will iron your creation.
