Material donations

The Huntsville Public Library is happy to accept donations of books and other materials. Donations are only accepted during opening hours. Please limit your donation to one box per visit. Please do not put donations in the drop box.

Books in excellent condition
Hardcover and paperback fiction
Non-fiction books less than 5 years old, with the exception of: cookbooks, crafts, gardening, and visual arts
Children’s books: picture books, board books, fiction etc
DVDs and CDs in excellent condition
Jigsaw puzzles or any brand and size that are not missing pieces

Old and outdated books
Books in poor condition: Yellowed or torn/ripped pages, musty
Encyclopedias, text books, and reference books.
Magazines and newspapers
Readers Digest condensed books

Please note: Donations become the property of the Library and cannot be returned to the donor.
