Looking to return your library books and other items?

Starting November 10th you can return items you borrowed from the library!

It is going to be open 24/7!

If you returned items during the couple of weeks we had the drop box open in July, there is a good chance those items are still on your account.  Don't worry!  When staff return to the building in November, we'll start the process to update all accounts.  Please be patient.  This may take several days.

 How It Works
  We’d like to share some information to help you prepare to use this modified service.
  • Do not use this service if you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Do not use this services if you have recently travelled outside Canada. Stay home if you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
  • Library staff are unavailable.
  • The library building is closed to the public.
  • Arrive at the library and approach the exterior drop box paying attention to social distancing practices.
  • If the drop box is in use by another library user, stand behind the lines marked on the concrete flooring.
  • Only books, DVDs, audiobooks, CDs, and magazines can be returned through the book return chute.
  • The Library is not accepting donations.
  • No plastic bags in drop box. Please remove your items from bags before putting them into the drop box.
  • It could take 7+ days after you return items for them to be checked in and cleared from your account. We must quarantine items for a minimum of 6 days.
 What To Expect
  • Signs reminding everyone about physical distancing practices.
  • Markings on the ground indicating social distancing spacing.
  • Zero-contact modified service - No interaction with library staff.
  • The public is not permitted in the building.
