Introduction to Robotics & Technology
Do you have an interest in learning about technology? Come and join others to learn about building Lego EV3 robots and participate in fun coding challenges with help from Teen Tech Sophia. Ages 8-13.

Exploring Technology
Explore many different types of technologies and engage with others who have similar interests. Experience coding, robots, and many other tech gadgets with help from Teen Tech Sophia. Ages 4-8.

Mason Jar Cookie Craft
Visit your library to make a festive gift! Measure the ingredients of a cookie recipe into a large Mason jar, then paint and decorate the jar! Enjoy baking the recipe together at home afterward. Ages 4-13.

Quilted Christmas Tree Sewing Project
Participants will sew and quilt a hanging Christmas Tree ornament from colourful fabric while learning to use a sewing machine. Sewing instruction by Mary Spring and Terri Howell. All supplies provided. For kids ages 8 and up.
Registration is required, select from morning or afternoon session.

Winter Preschool Storytime
Young children and their caregivers enjoy picture books, and participate in rhymes, fingerplays, songs with music shakers and scarves, and flannel board activities. For ages 2-5.

Rise and Shine Storytelling Feast
We're having a family dance party! Sign up and invite another family you know to join in the fun and show your moves. Celebrate Family Literacy Day with the Huntsville Family Literacy Group for a morning of hands-on literacy activities. The event is brought to you by Community Living Huntsville, Huntsville Public Library and SMILE Sandy’s Mindful Interactive Life Experiences. Event location is the Friends’ Multi-Purpose Room at the library.
Registration opens December 1. Aimed at families with children ages 0-6.

Winter Lego Builders Club
Join other Lego fans at your library to be creative and build with Lego! There will be a build challenge, and creations will be put on display in the Children’s Library afterward.
