Preschool Storytime Drop-In
Young children and their caregivers experience picture books, and participate in rhymes, fingerplays, songs with music shakers and scarves, and flannel board activities.

Storytime with the Mayor
To celebrate Ontario Public Library Week, young children and their caregivers are invited to enjoy picture books with guest reader Mayor Nancy Alcock, along with rhymes and songs with shakers and educational scarves.

Paws To Read®
Read to Wilson, a therapy dog! Paws to Read® is a program for kids to read aloud to a child certified therapy dog and their dog handler to practice reading aloud in a comfortable environment.

PA Day Sewing with Mary Spring and Terri Howell: Quilted Hearts
Put your creative skills to work this PA Day to create a quilted heart made from fabric. Children will learn how to use computerized sewing machines and to hand sew. All supplies provided.

Get creative this PA Day and create a holiday themed postcard. Children will learn how to use computerized sewing machines, to hand sew , and discuss design elements (line, form, texture, colour, shape). All supplies provided.

Mason Jar Cookie Craft
Visit your library to make a festive gift! Measure the ingredients of a cookie recipe into a large Mason jar, then paint and decorate the jar! Enjoy baking the recipe together at home afterward.
