Preschool Storytime

Young children and their caregivers enjoy picture books, and participate in rhymes, fingerplays, songs with music shakers and scarves, and flannel board activities.

Join other Lego fans at your library to be creative and build with Lego! There will be a build challenge, and creations will be put on display in the Children’s Library afterward. For families with children ages 4-12.

Sewing a Canadian Landscape with Mary Spring & Terri Howell

Put your creative skills to work this PA Day to create a Canadian landscape made from fabric. Children will learn how to use computerized sewing machines, discuss design elements (line, form, texture, colour, shape) and design a landscape of their own. Please bring lunch and a water bottle. All supplies provided.

For children ages 8 - 13.
