Join us for Fire Prevention Week Storytime at Fire Station 1! We will enjoy picture books and sing songs with scarves. Then there will be a chance to see fire trucks up close!
Paws To Read® October 08, 2026 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM
Read to Wilson, a therapy dog! Paws to Read® is a program for kids to read aloud to a child certified therapy dog and their dog handler to practice reading aloud in a comfortable environment. Register for up to three 15-minute reading sessions during the fall.

At 3:45 PM, 4:00 PM, 4:15 PM, or 4:30 PM

Do you have an interest in learning about technology? Come and join others to learn about building Lego EV3 robots and participate in fun coding challenges with help from Teen Tech Emily. Ages 8-13. Registration Required. Registration opens Aug 26.

Babies, toddlers and their caregivers are introduced to books, songs, rhymes, bounces and fingerplays.

Young children and their caregivers experience picture books, and participate in rhymes, fingerplays, songs with music shakers and scarves, and flannel board activities.

Exploring Tech Drop-In October 16, 2026 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Explore many different types of technologies and engage with others who have similar interests. Experience coding, robots, and many other tech gadgets with help from Teen Tech Emily. Aimed at age 4-8.
LEGO Builders Club October 20, 2026 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Join other Lego fans at your library to be creative and build with Lego! There will be a build challenge, and creations will be put on display in the Children’s Library afterward. Ages 4-12. Registration required. Please register separately for each Lego Builders Club. Registration opens Aug 26.
